The annual sale of Jonathan Adler designed upholstery has kicked off in full swing, Monday, February 4, 2013. With just a few more days to go, the designer firm is offering flat 20 percent discount on all upholstery and 30 percent on selected merchandise as well.
One can find creative upholstered seats of various shapes and sizes for reasonable prices as well.
The relief pottery collection is the most popular of Adler designs. The collection offers a wide range of Ripple vases and tabletop accessories. Some new additions have been made to the upholstery collection as well. X-benches are in vogue and you can find them in various sizes, colors and prints.
Adler is famous for inventing "the Happy Chic" style. He believes in surrounding oneself with things and colors one loves to stay happy in life.
Apart from designing furniture and interiors, Adler is also an author of four books. His latest book, "100 ways to Happy Chic your Life," was published in November 2012 and has gained much popularity.
Adler first launched his ceramic collection in 1994 at Barneys New York. He expanded into home furnishings five years after his first project launch. He now owns 20 worldwide stores and also provides online shopping and shipping services.
His product offerings range from lighting to pillows and bath accessories. Recently, he also launched a collection of handbags.
In an interview with Elle Decor, Adler said that he and spouse, Simon Dooner had purchased a plot in Hamptons which they plan on designing and decorating themselves.
Fun Fact: Jonathan Adler also designed the Malibu home of Barbie® which she just listed in the open market. In 2009, Mattel, the company that manufactures Barbie dolls, called Adler to glam up Barbie's 8000 square feet home on the occasion of Barbie's fiftieth anniversary.
