New reports claim that Mel Gibson's girlfriend Rosalind Ross is pregnant. The news surfaced on Monday, saying that the "Braveheart" actor and his girlfriend, who are currently in Sydney as he films the WWII drama "Hacksaw Ridge," are expecting their first child together and the actor's ninth.
A source revealed to New Idea magazine that Gibson's girlfriend, 24, had given up drinking, and it's most likely because she's pregnant.
"Rosey suddenly gave up drinking about a month ago," a source told the magazine. "And while she won't admit she's pregnant, she's not denying it either." The insider went to add that Ross have always really wanted to have three or four children and be a young mother.
Gibson's girlfriend has been supporting the actor/director and has tagged along with him since he began filming in Australia, Radar Online reports. Some sources say that the couple looks smitten with each other despite their age difference, and it's not impossible that they would start building their family at this point in time.
It can be recalled that Gibson made headlines last month when he reportedly shoved and spit on a female photographer named Kristi Miller in Sydney. There were reports too that he allegedly said abusive language to Miller outside the Sydney cinema. However, he was not charged for the incident since the New South Wales Police did not find sufficient evidence against him, Daily Mail reports.
The 59-year-old and his girlfriend started dating in July after she worked for his production company, Icon. Meanwhile, Gibson has a total of eight children from his past relationships. He has seven with his ex-wife Robyn and a daughter with his former girlfriend, Russian pianist Oksana Grigorieva.
