In the new promotional video for Season 3 of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," viewers get a glimpse of how Bill Hader will act as Captain Seth Dozerman.
According to TV Line, the character was described to be "toe the line between tough-as-nails and completely insane."
In the short video for the upcoming season, Hader can be seen giving announcements to the department with a straight face. He tells the group, "My motto is simple: efficiency, efficiency, efficiency."
Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that Andre Braugher's character Captain Holt has been promoted to work in the PR department by his longtime nemesis Kyra Sedwick's Madeline Wuntch. According to International Business Times, Andy Samberg's character Jake definitely misses Captain Holt as he considers him as his father figure in the department. Now that there is a new captain who seems to do not fit in easily, it was reported that Jake will try to fix everything.
In the promotional video for Season 3, Captain Holt and Jake are having a conversation in a car. It can be seen that Captain Holt and Jake are both in civilian clothing and examining some important photos which came from Holt's desk. The site observed that the two met in an abandoned ally which could reportedly mean that they are working on something secretly. It could be that the two are planning on how they could get Captain Holt back in the precinct.
According to the site, since it was Madeline who caused all the big changes in their department, the two might be plotting something against her. It is also known that everyone in the precinct wants Captain Holt to be back, and they will reportedly do anything in their power to bring him back even if they would be crossing the deputy chief.
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 3 will air on Fox on September 27.
