It seems like Kate Beckett's (Stana Katic) new position will compromise her life as "Castle" Season 8 premieres later this month.
According to Movie News Guide, the premiere episode of Season 8 will concentrate on Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) as he asks the help of Detectives Kevin Ryan (Seamus Dever) and Javier "Javi" Esposito (Jon Huertas) to look for his wife. It was reported that the first episode will be based on Castle's point of view, while the second episode will be based on Kate's take on the events.
In the official synopsis of the upcoming premiere episode, it was revealed that Kate will be mysteriously disappearing after receiving an anonymous tip which warns her about some mercenaries who were reportedly watching her every move. In the trailer released earlier, Kate is running away from Castle, and there are also scenes where she can be seen fighting for her life.
Castle is also seen being kidnapped by the mercenaries who are looking for Kate. In one scene from the trailer, the kidnappers threaten Castle's life as they try to find out about Kate's whereabouts. As of writing, there is still no news as to where Kate ran off or who took her. It seems like fans will just have to wait for the premiere for the answers.
Meanwhile, new executive producers and co-showrunners Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter revealed in an interview that a couple will be expecting a baby in the upcoming season, according to Christian Post.
Winter revealed that the Ryan Family will be expecting a new addition to their family in Season 8. Winter said that now that Ryan (Seamus Dever) will be having another child, he will be starting to contemplate about his future.This will also cause some tension between him and Esposito (Jon Huertas), as both of them will scramble to make more money.
"Castle" Season 8 will return on September 21.
