Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens: Vanessa Turns to Zac for Comfort; Will They Leave Their Partners to be Together Again?

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have triggered reconciliation rumors again after reports claim that the singer/actress quickly ran to him instead of his boyfriend, Austin Butler, to confide a family problem.

The news comes after Zac's rumored gay boyfriend, Dave Franco, announced his engagement with Alison Brie, according to the report of National Enquirer. The site quoted an unnamed source who said that the "High School Musical" (HSM) star vented out to Efron about her problem.

"Vanessa quietly reached out to Efron during her time of need. And he was only too kind to offer her a shoulder to cry on," the site reported.

While rumors on the reconciliation of the former lovers are heating up, it is said that their "HSM" fans are still hoping to see the former couple together on screen or in real life. Although the reports are not yet confirmed, the two have reportedly remained good friends even if they are now both committed in their own relationships.

The Zac and Vanessa dating and reconciliation rumors stepped up a gear when Zac was seen leaving his girlfriend Sami Miro alone in his latest movie's cast party in Atlanta, Radar Online reports. It is said that the "We Are Your Friends" actor showed up at the party venue with an unrecognizable group of people and completely ignored his model girlfriend.

"Other people made sure that Sami got home safely," a source said.

Meanwhile, Austin recently revealed in an interview during the MTV Music Video Awards how he and Vanessa manage to keep their relationship strong for four years, Entertainment Online reports.

"I think you just have to, it's important to put that other person first," the 24-year-old former "Carrie Diaries" star said. "If you're constantly looking for ways that you can make them happy, and they're constantly looking for ways that they can make you happy, then you kind of lift each other up as much as possible and you can't go wrong," he said.
