'Newborn' 13 Year Old Photos Going Viral Online [PHOTOS]

Newborn photos are a popular thing to do for parents who want to capture those cute little toes and fingers and keep them as a memory forever. However, a "newborn" 13-year-old photos are not quite as common.

Latrell Higgins, a child who was adopted at age 10, asked his parents to let him take 'newborn' 13-year-old photos because he never got them when he was a child. The image was later posted to Facebook, and is going viral.

His mother, Kelli Higgins, works as a professional photographer and was able to stage a photo shoot of Lartell posing like a newborn in softly lit photos.

"Here's my sweet not so little newborn! His name is Latrell and weighs 112 lbs," Higgins posted on Facebook.

The image has received more than 11,000 likes on Higgins' public page for her photography business.

"This is such a beautiful thing to do!" one person wrote, NBC reported. "I know so many people who adopted older children and don't have ANY pictures of their infancy. What a spectacular way to remedy that... after all, he'll always be your baby."

While most 13-year-old boys might be embarrassed at the idea of posing like a newborn with their mothers, but Latrell says he wasn't embarrassed in the slightest, and that he thought the idea was hilarious.

"I thought it was funny and that it would be a good idea," Latrell told TODAY.com.

Everyone he's shown the photos to has thought they were funny, too, Latrell added, according to the Daily Mail.
