Cindy Crawford's daughter, Kaia Gerber, is hitting the headlines as she wowed the audience during the New York Fashion Week.
As per The Daily Mail, the young model wore a black dress as she made her New York Fashion Week debut at the Public School show last Sunday morning. She seems psyched to attend the popular label's spring/summer 2016 presentation. She then shared a photo of a model wearing a white gown on Instagram.
The 14-year-old model is the second child of the famous model Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. She started modelling at the age of 10 but her mother placed her modelling career into a halt. Cindy initially said that Kaia needs to wait until she's 17 to proceed with her modelling career. She eventually realized how passionate her daughter is in regards to modelling so she allowed her to sign the deal.
Just like her supermodel mom, she already appeared in numerous fashion magazines such as Carine Roitfeld's magazine, CR Fashion Book, and Vogue Italia.
She also starred in a few cameo roles in "Sister Cities" with Troian Bellisario and Michelle Trachtenberg. She signed a contract with one of the most prestigious modelling agencies IMG Models just this July.
During her interview with Teen Vogue last year [when she was just 13], Kaia shared some of her modelling experiences. [People]
"I've seen my mom do it, and it seems exhausting, it's not easy - you're in heels all the time and constantly having to dress up. If that's your job, jeans and a T-shirt are all you really dream of."
She then added:
"She doesn't want me to start a career too young, she started modelling when she was 16, but that world is very different now. She knows so much about it, I think it would be hard for her to be on set and not say things like, 'Psst, Kaia, put your elbow up.'"
