Just days after Apple unveiled their latest gadgets like the iPhone 6S, 6S Plus and iPad Pro with pencil during the Apple Event, Microsoft seems to be quick with their reply.
On Monday morning, the tech giant owned by Bill Gates, sent out invites for their Special Microsoft Event in New York City on Oct. 6.
According to some speculation looming on the background, this Microsoft event is considerably a hardware-focused event which would then highlight the most anticipated Surface Pro 4, the Microsoft Band 2, and of course new Lumia smartphone handsets. But a company representative vaguely confirmed such rumors via mashable saying that the event would be "a continuation of the Windows 10 journey we've been on" and, more importantly, "the next stage of Windows 10 devices."
Though details of the launching of the said devices, particularly of the Surface Pro 4 are yet to be confirmed; event's invitation which simply says, "We have some exciting news to share about Windows 10 devices," seems to be affirming on what most people are expecting. All attention is on the company's effort to produce the replacement or upgrade of their Surface Pro 3. Even Apple has been rumored to have been preparing their 12.9-inch iPad Pro with optional keyboard and Bluetooth pen for the arrival of the Surface Pro 4 tablet hybrid.
Whatever Microsoft would be unveiling next month, for sure it would be something great as to compensate their disappointing Microsoft event at IFA in Germany earlier this month. Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 would considerably be a saving grace especially with their promise that says the device won't be having a drastic change, keeping the charging mechanism and overall form factor similar. Now that we are only counting days before the event, all eyes are expected to be on the lookout for the launching or unveiling of their Microsoft devices, especially that their top competitor Apple had already revealed their tops guns in the market.
