Bruce Willis Buys Adam Clayton’s New York Residence

The "Die Hard" actor, Bruce Willis, has bought a $8.7 million condo in the Central Park West neighborhood of New York. The home belonged to rock band "U2" bassist, Adam Clayton, who listed it for $8.69 million in October 2012.

Willis once lived in the Upper West Side with then wife, Demi Moore. However, he moved away after they separated. He will now be returning to the area to live with his model wife, Emma Heming and their daughter, Mabel Ray.

Listing details do not provide for the size and measurement of the home. However, it is known that the residence comprises of three bedrooms and four bathrooms along with multiple glass windows that provide for lovely views of the Central Park, reports Real Estalker.

Apparently, when the home was built in 1930, it was divided into two units. However, when Clayton purchased the place in 1993, he combined the two units and converted it into a single unit, reports Zillow.

According to the floor plan, the home opens into a large gallery that leads to a spacious living room. The place boasts of a fully equipped modern gourmet kitchen with dine-in facility. A formal dining room and a separate dressing room are also available in the apartment. All the bedrooms including the master suite have attached bathrooms and huge walk in closets..

Willis has many properties in his kitty. Apart from the sprawling digs in Beverly Hills, he owns a ranch-style estate in Los Angeles and another property in Hailey, Idaho.

Currently, Willis is busy shooting for "Sin City: A dame to Kill for" while his next adventure/action flick "G.I.Joe: Retaliation" will be hitting theatres on March 28, 2013. He is also engaged in the post production activities of upcoming movie "Red 2" starring Helen Mirren, Anthony Hopkins and Mary-Louis Parker.

His latest release, "A Good Day to Die Hard," has also received good reviews and Willis hopes to make more sequels to the "Die Hard" legacy.

While Willis is living the good life, Clayton is busy fighting the lawsuit he filed against his assistant accusing her of buying an apartment in New York with his money. The case has been adjourned.
