Why Vivienne Westwood Drove a Tank and Attacked David Cameron's House

Fashion designer and businesswoman, Vivienne Westwood had an explosive entrance when she arrived at the home of British Prime Minister, David Cameron, to protest fracking. She joined the protesters by riding a white armored carrier.

"We are here to poison the ground under David Cameron's house because what he wants to do is poison loads of other people," Westwood exclaimed to RT UK.

The grand entrance was made in response to government announcing that it would offer licenses for fracking in 27 locations in Yorkshire.

After the government announced the fracking last month, many protesters, including Westwood gathered together over the weekend to show their strong objection against the government's decision.

"Cameron accuses foreign leaders such as President Gaddafi and President Assad of supposedly using chemicals on their own people as a justification for regime change," Westwood explained.

She continued, "But he is doing precisely that here in Britain by forcing toxic, life-threatening fracking chemicals on his own people against the advice of his own chief scientist. It's time for regime change in Britain. Cameron plans to force householders to surrender their land and endure fracking underneath their homes. Britons no longer have any choice but to fight back."

Unfortunately, during the protest, the prime minister wasn't at home, instead, he was visiting Leeds.

This is not the first time Westwood grabbed headlines. Back in April, in cooperation with the 'Talk Fracking' organization, she staged an apocalyptic-themed protest against the fracking, which involved zombie protesters. She also carried a bloody doll which she described a fracked baby of the future.

In an article released by JEZEBEL, the 74 year old designer is a longtime political and environmental activist. Her son, Joe Corré, heads the anti-fracking organization 'Talk Fracking.' He is also the founder of 'Agent Provocateur.'
