'Legend of Zelda Wii U' News & Release Date: Game to Feature New Story and Main Antagonist? Game Poised to be Launch Title for Nintendo NX?

Die-hard fans and gamers of "The Legend of Zelda Wii U" want something new for the video game. A new report has surfaced on Tuesday, saying that the game may have a new story--at least, according to fans.

A lot of rumors and speculations currently surrounding the game, probably because Nintendo has been tight-lipped about any development related to the title until now. In fact, the company has been successful in building up public excitement for the game.

Considering that there's scarcity of official information about the "Legend of Zelda Wii U," both avid fans and gamers are reportedly worried about the recent rumor that the "upcoming game will be created from its predecessors." Aside from this rumor, fans also want to see a new antagonist in Nintendo's upcoming game, a report from Youth Health Mag said.

"Fans have a lot of suggestions for the mysterious 'Legend of Zelda' game. Some are tired of facing Ganondorf as the main antagonist and would want to fight another big villain. Others may want new lead characters as well," the report said.

The aforementioned publication speculates that the game is poised to be launched for Nintendo NX since the new console is a "dedicated game platform" and reportedly performs better than Wii U.

Meanwhile, the game's "Trifoce Heroes" is slated to be released on Oct. 23 for Nintendo 3DS.

Master Herald reports that aside from the main story and new antagonist that fans have been clamoring for in "Legend of Zelda Wii U," die-hard fans of the game also want to see new features to the title's gameplay that will make the most of the Wii U's new and advanced controllers. The publication claims, for instance, that it would be better if players experience a new and interactive control scheme that will allow them to explore new ideas and learn new skills.

"One interesting sentiment that can be felt throughout the community is that the game should be more open and non-linear with regards to its storyline and environments, and this is something that people have wanted to see in a new 'Zelda' game for a long time now. The games have generally been quite linear in their stories and don't give players too many branching options, but now would be the right time to experiment a little more with giving players more freedom and allowing them to shape how the story progresses," according to the report.
