Meg Ryan’s Home Hunt Continues

The "You've got Mail" actress, Meg Ryan's home hunt is still on. She was recently spotted looking at a Brownstone home in at 126 west, 87 street. The $8.7 million home that Ryan was eyeing is a suave residence with lovely backside terraces. Built in 1888 the home sits on the top floor of the building, featuring 18 foot ceilings and also has a front parlor, reports New York Post.

Late in December, it was reported that a home at 907 Fifth Avenue had caught Ryan's eye. However, it looks like the home didn't match up the sophisticated actress' requirements.

In 2010, she had rented out her Bel-Air property to Diane Keaton for $40,000 a month who renovated the home in 2011. The home then hit listing markets asking for around $14 million. Failing to sell then, she relisted her home in April 2012 for $11.4 million, slashing $3 million off the cost.

Currently, Ryan is renting a home for $25,000 a month in the SoHo neighborhood of New York.

Ryan and husband Quaid divorced after ten years of matrimony. She was allegedly having an affair with Russell Crowe. However, Ryan denied that Crowe was the reason for their divorce.

"The reasons [Quaid and I] broke up have nothing to do with another person. My marriage was broken - nobody else broke it up," Ryan told ABC News.

Afterwards, Ryan and Crowe were spotted in London, Los Angles and Sydney flaunting a lot of PDA, much to the delight of the paparazzi.

Ryan was ranked #59 on the "Most Powerful People in Hollywood" by Entertainment Weekly in 1998. She last appeared in the 2009 TV series, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and the romantic comedy flick "Serious Moonlight" that also featured Timothy Hutton and Kirsten Bell.
