Gosselin Wife Swap: Kate and Kendra Wilkinson Trade Lives for Celebrity Wife Swap

Kate Gosselin and Kendra Wilkinson traded places on an episode of "Celebrity Wife Swap", The Daily Mail reported.

Needless to say, Gosselin's eight children were left feeling completely disturbed and in shock.

We're also leaving out the little detail that Wilkinson, a former Playboy model and wife to NFL wide receiver Hank Baskett, is a mother to three-year-old Hank Jr.

Was this a fair swap?

Robert Hoffman, a friend of her ex-husband, is a harsh critic of Gosselin and wrote a tell-all book about her, revealing some disturbing reports about child abuse, according to The Huffington Post. The book was later pulled after he wrongly gained access to personal information.

Hoffman told RadarOnline that "the Gosselin children were scared and very confused, having no idea who their new mom-for-a-week was, or why they were left alone with her to be filmed by strangers."

Gosselin and Wilkinson both appeared on "Dancing with the Stars" as contestants.

Gosselin gained American stardom after the reality show on TLC, "Jon & Kate Plus 8." The fame put a strain on their marriage and the couple filed for divorce in 2009 after 10 years of marriage. That didn't stop the show, renamed "Kate Plus 8" from continuing without Jon. However, after seven seasons it was pulled.

Wilkinson is not shy to reality TV. Her series "Kendra" profiled the lives of Kendra and her husband. It debuted in 2009 on E! spinning off of her first slice of reality TV, "The Girls Next Door." The new series was renamed, "Kendra on Top" and began airing on WE tv since last summer.

The show "Celebrity Wife Swap" is featured on ABC, and both moms had to swap lives for an entire week. This episode is expected to appear Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. EST, according to the RadarOnline.
