"The Taken King" Destiny, a sizeable expansion pack game, will go live at 2 a.m. PT on Sept. 15 (that's 5 a.m. ET, 4 a.m. Central, and 3 a.m. mountain), Forbes reported.
Current players have already tried the game and how Destiny will look like via patch 2.0. Bungie, the development team behind Destiny, is set out to fix all current issues within "Year One." It promised a better experience for this new expansion with major updates and newest improvements, Heavy reported.
Some fans and developers have spotted a couple of bugs that were tracked via the Destiny Player Support. One of the bugs is the missing Exotic Guardian Class items which will be re-issued once "The Taken King" launches.
"Destiny" players who have accessed the Patrols and Vanguard Legacy Strike Playlist activities may observe that some rewards may not be given even after completing them. This bug will be resolved in the launch of "The Taken King."
The SUROS Arsenal Pack weapons pack and the Exotic Guardian Class items pre-launch can already be accessed by some players but everything will be made officially available on Sept. 15.
Reputation and rewards received prior to the said date will not be retroactively granted but those who have attained level 25 or higher, will get access to the Faction Quest following the release of "The Taken King."
One player was able to acquire free 32GB drive from Activision, according to International Business Times. Some players on the PS3 and Xbox 360 may qualify for free storage update, and are advised to check if they are eligible before purchasing additional storage or hard drives for the update.
The game has two expansion packs that includes "The Dark Below" and "House of Wolves," with 32 and 34 levels, respectively. The Taken King also promises a whole new explorable area, new enemies, gear, and, ideally, an actual story, Forbes noted.
A new video released by the company via the PlayStation Blog showcased some exclusive perks and contents for PS4 players.
