'Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden' Now Has New English Off-Screen Gameplay Footage

This is good news to the "Dragon Ball Z" fans. "Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden," the new "Dragon Ball Z" fighting game developed by Arc System Works, is nearing its official release date and reports of a new English gameplay footage on recent off-screen gameplay video has been seen online. The said English footage features a variety of characters including Goku, Gohan, Gotenks and Raditz. It was taken recently during a promotional event held in Brazil by Bandai Namco, a Japan-based video game publisher.

In the previous weeks, the playable demo of "Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden" was made available for download on the eShop. The demo version allowed fans to experience a few exciting features of the game along with being able to experience playing a few characters and several Z-Assist ones. For those who have not downloaded the demo, the gameplay video can be viewed in geeksnack.com.

On the other hand, Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden was made available in Japan earlier this summer but only a few extra Z-Assist characters have been unlocked for this version of the game. One of the latest Z-Assist characters unlocked for the Japanese version is Yakon, who can be obtained by scanning a barcode that comes with the game's promotional material.

No announcement as to which of the characters will be initially available and which ones will have to be unlocked when the Western version of "Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden" is released. But western fans should not worry as the announcement will come very soon. Currently, "Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden" is only available in Japan exclusively for Nintendo 3DS platform. The game will be released by the developers in Europe officially on Oct. 16th and then in Northern America on Oct. 20.
