War of the Best Android Wear Devices: Moto 360 2 vs. LG Watch Urbane

Stylish Android Wear devices are now available in the market. Two of the best devices that come with round bodies are the Moto 360 2 and the LG Watch Urbane. Here is a comparison of the two smartwatches.

According to Ecumenical News, Moto 360 2 has more customization options and comes in two sizes. A 42 mm model comes either with a 16 mm band or a 20 mm band and a 46 mm model comes with a 22 mm band. Both features round cases and are made of stainless steel. The two models come in gold, rose gold, silver and black. There are several options to choose for the band, some made of leather and some crafted from stainless steel. Moto 360 2 has an IP67 certification and can be immersed in the water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

LG Watch Urbane also has a round body but it only comes in one size and made from stainless steel with two color options of gold and silver. As for its band, it is a standard 22 mm version, made of leather. Just like the Moto 360 S, LG Watch Urbane also has an IP67 rating. The starting price of Moto 360 2 is $299.99 and can go as high as $429.99, while LG Watch Urbane costs $300.

The big screen of Moto 360 2 is still the most striking you've seen on any wearable. It's about 39 percent bigger than the LG Watch Urbane's 1.3-inch display.

Gizmag said LG Watch Urbane has the biggest advantage with its battery life. It can last close to two days with its always-on screen turned on. If the Moto 360 2 is turned on the "ambient'' mode (not always on, but showing a dimmed clock more often than when the setting is turned off), it might not last a full day. If the setting is turned off, it can last more than a day.
