It's only HTC One M9 that can take on the iPhone 6S in terms of design. But the iPhone 6S boasts impressive features. The following are the comparisons of the two flagships.
The metal unibody of iPhone 6s has similar curved edges to its predecessor and comes with a fingerprint scanner. It is available in four colors: space gray, rose gold, gold and silver. One M9 does not have a fingerprint scanner but it also has a metal body with round corners. It has eye-catching colors such as gunmetal gray, amber gold, a silver/rose gold combination and a gold/pink combination.
Ecumenical News reported that One M9 has a bigger display of 5.0-inch LCD3 screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a density of 441 pixels per inch. As for iPhone 6x, it only has 4.7 inches IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels and a density of 326 pixels per inch. The Apple device features a 3D Touch technology integrated into its display, which sense the amount of pressure of the user's finger being applied on the screen. Apple has only revealed that it comes with an A9 chipset while One M9 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset.
Trusted Reviews said HTC One M9 and Apple's iPhone 6s are both made of metal and have 64-bit power and top-tier camera. These smartphones are some of 2015's big supporters of metal designs. Both have shells made largely of aluminium that gives you a much fancier, harden feel than a plastic phone. The two phones have different styles. The iPhone 6s has smooth edges but a flat back, while theOne M9's back is all-curved. One M9 is chunkier at around 9.5mm thick as compared to iPhone's 6.5mm.
One M9 has 20-megapixel rear camera and 4-megapixel front camera and dual-LED flash. iPhone 6s has only 8-megapixel rear camera, 1-2 megapixel front camera and dual-LED flash.
