'Nashville' Season 4 Spoilers & Premiere: Deacon’s Fate Revealed? Connie Britton Teases More Details

Fans are reportedly wondering whether Deacon (Charles Esten) will survive or not in the upcoming Season 4 of ABC's "Nashville."

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Connie Britton, who plays Rayna in the show, revealed some of the details in the upcoming season.

In the Season 3 finale, Deacon and his sister Beverly (Dana Wheeler-Nicholson) were scheduled for surgery for a liver transplant. However, in the last scenes of the episode, one of the heart monitors flatlined, and the viewers were not sure who did not survive the surgery. Unfortunately, Britton did not reveal anything about both of the characters' fate.

In the interview, Britton said that her character's love life will become very clear during the first part of episode 1. In addition, she revealed that Rayna will be focusing more on her label with Highway 65 Records, and she will try to move forward with how she wants the label to be. According to International Business Times, this will involve Rayna singing with a new talent.

It was earlier reported that Markus Keen (Riley Smith) will be signing with Highway 65 to get a head start on his solo career, but when he realized that Rayna's label will be depending on him, he will reportedly become very demanding. According to the site, a source claims that Markus will make it really hard for Rayna, but it might end with a possible romance between the two, and this will depend on Deacon's fate.

Meanwhile, it was also reported that Zoey Dalton (Chaley Rose) will be returning for at least one episode in the upcoming season. The show will also reportedly explore the events following Will Lexington's (Chris Carmack) revelation of his sexuality. It was reported that after his revelation, it will be a struggle for Will to go on with his life and career.

"Nashville" Season 4 will air on September 23.
