Malcolm Tunbull Net Worth: Australia's New Prime Minister Has Put His Home up for Sale

After winning the recent election, Malcolm Turnbull has been sworn in as the 29th Prime Minister of Australia. As reported in a news article on ABC News, Turnbull's victory is the result of a political coup which saw to it that he would reclaim the leadership of the Liberal Party from Tony Abbott. Regardless that it is Turnbull's first couple of days as Australian Prime Minister, he still has the know-how in playing the property game successfully.

The home of the Prime Minister is popularly called as ""one of the best trophy homes in one of the best locations" as cited in an article on the Daily Telegraph. Turnbull, who has the highest portfolio of property, resides in the nation's most luxurious suburb Point Piper as stated in the same article on the Daily Telegraph.

A leading prestige property agent from LJ Hooker Double Bay, Bill Malouf, said that Point Piper is "celebrated as one of the world's spots where people can find the most expensive, elegant houses." As cited in the same article on the Daily Telegraph, Mr. Malouf is quoted to have said that "Point Piper has public appeal across the world and is known as the prestige suburb in Sydney's eastern suburbs." Amidst the grandeur of this suburb, the Prime Minister's house is deemed as the best, if not one of the best.

Moreover, Sydney Sotheby's International Realty agent, Michael Pallier, believed that Turnbull's property will definitely attract a cost easily over $50 million. Mr. Pallier said: "It is one of the best trophy homes in one of the best locations. It has one of the widest water frontages and is a magnificent home," as quoted on the Daily Telegraph.

Malcolm Turnbull's home does only manifest his expertise and keenness in the political arena, but also in property investment. On top of that, he also has other real estate properties under his name: one in Point Piper and the other in Canberra, and yet another is a commercial property in exclusive Potts Point in Sydney.
