Executive producer Jason Rothenberg revealed in his Twitter account that there will be emotional scenes as "The 100" returns for Season 3 sometime next year.
According to International Business Times, the EP said in his Twitter account that he cried while they were filming one scene with Bob Morley's character Bellamy.
One of the producers of the shows has previously revealed that a major character will be killed off in the new season. Aaron Ginsburg, supervising producer of the show, said that this character is a fan favorite, and he said that "the blood belongs to a character you guys like." It was speculated that the scene the EP was talking about is the one where Bellamy discovers the death of someone close to him.
At the end of Season 2, it was reported earlier that Clarke (Eliza Taylor) left the group after helping Bellamy kill all the Mountain Men with the use of radiation. Clarke was seen sporting a new look, and the EPs hinted that this could mean a possible change in the character's storyline.
In the picture reported earlier, Clarke can be seen looking like one of the Grounders, and it was speculated that Clarke will be either joining them or may be working like an undercover against them.
With this new storyline, Melty reported that fans are also looking forward to finding out whom Clarke will choose to be with. Will it be with Bellamy or Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey)?
Aaron Ginsburg revealed in an interview that there is no question between the chemistry of Clarke and Bellamy or Clarke and Lexa. He revealed that they are working on making a great story among the characters, but he did say who will be Clarke's choice. He just assured fans that whatever the writers decide on, it will be the best for the story.
As of writing, there is still no official release date for Season 3 of "The 100" as production is still going on.
