'EastEnders' Actress Samantha Womack Calls Police after an Obsessed Stalker Camps outside Family Home

Actress Samantha Womack, who plays the character of Ronnie Mitchell in the popular BBC soap, 'EastEnders,' is said to be living in the real life nightmare after an obsessed fan camped outside her house. A fixated fan reportedly sent the 42 year old actress a weird love letter. Then showed up at the Berkshire property, where Womack shares with her husband Mark and their two children. She reportedly called a police and asked for her security to be stepped up.

A source told The Sun: "This stalker has become completely obsessed with her and has been sleeping outside her house so that he can spy on her." The source also claimed that the whole family were terrified with the disturbing situation.

"A report was made on Thursday relating to incidents of suspected stalking at a property," a Bedfordshire Police spokesman said to Mirror.

Authorities are already investigating the said incident and asking neighbors to be wary on anyone looking suspicious around the area. Security on the set of 'EastEnders' in Hertfordshire has reportedly been stepped up after the alleged incident.

Apparently this is not the first time Sam has been targeted by the public as she was verbally attacked in the street over 'EastEnders' baby swap storyline back in 2011.Sam's character Ronnie was at the center of fierce after it secretly swap her fictional new-born baby, who had just died, for a healthy one born to a neighbor on the same day. After the controversial storyline, she was labeled by an angry fan a "murdering b***h" as she walked down the street in London with her children. She reportedly wants to leave the soap after the alleged incident, which the actress refused to comment.

The decision of the network to air the episodes has plunged the corporation into its biggest controversy, Daily Mail reported.
