Marvel Comics News: 16 Comic Series Slated To be Released This December

Earlier this week, Marvel has revealed its full lineup of solicitations for December 2015. The company has prepared a truckload of new comic series to entertain comic fans in time for Christmas and the holidays.

There are 16 new series that have been announced and seven series were previously announced by the company separately, with their own creative teams, IGN said. Below are Marvel's new comic and ending series, according to IGN.

New Series:

  • A-Force #1
  • All-New Inhumans #1-2
  • Daredevil #1-2
  • Deadpool & Cable: Split Second #1
  • Guardians of Infinity #1
  • Gwenpool Special #1
  • Marvel's Captain America: Civil War Prelude #1-2
  • Patsy Walker, a.k.a. Hellcat #1
  • Red Wolf #1
  • Scarlet Witch #1
  • Spidey #1
  • Squadron Supreme #1-2
  • Star Wars Special: C-3PO #1
  • Totally Awesome Hulk #1
  • Uncanny X-Men #1-2
  • Weirdworld #1

Ending Series:

  • Captain America: White #5
  • Secret Wars #9
  • Star Wars: Chewbacca #5

"Marvel Comics has had a gang buster of a last month revealing its post Secret Wars 2015 All-New All-Different Marvel branded new ongoing series; approximately 55 to 60 titles will be under this ANAD Marvel umbrella between September 2015 and February 2016," Inside Pulse reports.

The publication further speculates that Marvel will have five more series to come. These series are the following:

  • Black Panther
  • Black Widow
  • Citizen V or Thunderbolts series with him
  • Death's Head with Death's Head II I believe
  • Iron Man series number two

It can be recalled that Marvel has initially announced nine series for September 2015, and on the same month, the company has revealed another batch of 36 new series and four new series that will be launched between October and November 2015. A total of 56 series so far have been confirmed by the company.
