FX has just released an intriguing Teaser for the upcoming season 5 of American Horror Story. It did not really reveal much to be considered a spoiler but it is said, that showrunner Ryan Murphy had dropped a hint that there will be drugs or addiction involved in the next season.
The teaser titled "Locked Up" shows the arm of a junkie unfolding, preparing to shoot up. As a representation, viewers can see that the needle is a key while the arm has the keyhole for the needle. It could mean a lot of things. What mystery from the last season would finally be unlocked in the latest season of "American Horror Story"? The junkie's hand could also be a representation of Max Greenfields's "Gabriel," according to TV Line. After all, Murphy has revealed that in the last season, Gabriel will be in the spotlight for "the most disturbing scene" ever done on AHS.
Murphy has also talked about how Max Greenfield is dedicated to his role. "He plays an addict who checks into the hotel and tangles with Sarah Paulson. I said to him (Max), 'I have a feeling that you can and want to do something really f--ked up.' And he said, 'How did you know?' So he cut off his beautiful hair and dyed it. And I think he's lost 30 pounds. Yesterday, I talked to him and his waist I think is down to a 27. So he's really committed to it."
The new season of "American Horror Story: Hotel" will cast Lady Gaga, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Chloë Sevigny, Denis O'Hare, Cheyenne Jackson, Evan Peters and Finn Wittrock. The latest installment of the Emmy and Golden Globe winning franchise will have 13 episodes and will premiere Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 10/9c on FX.
