Lindsey Vonn Graphic Leg Photo Reveals Injuries Following Ski Accident

Lindsey Vonn shared photos of her injured leg after undergoing surgery just days after her horrific fall while competing in the Alpine Ski World Championships in Austria last Tuesday.

The Olympic skier posted a photo of her leg to Instagram this weekend to show her fans the extent of her injuries. . "My knee looks...um...not very good.... #longskirtsthissummer #ugh," she wrote.

Lindsey Vonn tore her anterior-cruciate and medial-collateral knee ligaments and broke a bone in her lower leg. On Feb 10, she underwent successful and is currently at home in Vail recovering with her family.

"Success! Surgery went very well yesterday and I'm recovering at home in Vail with my family. I want to sincerely thank everyone for their well wishes these last few days. It's going to be a long and hard road back but I will be back!" she wrote on Facebook.

On Tuesday, the 28-year-old skier put up another image promoting her sponsor, the energy drink Red Bull. photo shows the bandaged up athlete doing rehabilitation exercises next to bottles of Red Bull with the inspirational caption: 'Not letting obstacles stand in your way...'
