"The Walking Dead" Season 6 Release: New Photos Reveal Spoilers and Updates!

AMC, the network behind the hit series "The Walking Dead," has released new photos for the show's sixth season. And if a picture could indeed paint a thousand words, then the teasers are saying that this is going to be the show's best season yet.

In one picture, Norman Reedus, a.k.a. Daryl Dixon, is seen wiping blood off his hands. Sounds like major trouble for the zombie apocalypse survivor!

In another photo, Andrew Lincon, who plays as Rick Grimes, posed with a sullen look on his face and a gun in his hand. At the end of season five, fans saw him shoot the husband of his schoolboy crush, an act witnessed by his friend Morgan.

There is another snap taken with both Rick and Morgan, looking uneasily at each other. Could this speak of a rivalry brewing between the two?

Lennie James, the actor portraying Morgan, told Yahoo! TV: "I can say that where Rick is and where Morgan is, they will find common grounds. But they will also be in conflict. That's about as much as I can say."

The other two main characters, Sasha Williams and Abraham Ford, are also snapped with an army of zombies behind them, and the look on their faces are intense.

Looks like the show is pulling out all the stops for an exciting season!

"Season 6 starts with Alexandria's safety shattered by multiple threats," AMC told People Magazine. "To make it, the people of Alexandria will need to catch up with our survivors' hardness while many of our survivors will need to take a step back from the violence and pragmatism they've needed to embrace. These reversals won't happen easily, or without conflict."

Watch what happens to the characters when "The Walking Dead" season 6 premieres on Oct. 11 on Fox.
