They say if you want to earn a lot of money you should have a business in fashion, like fragrances, clothing, cosmetics and accessories. Forbes has list down the world's richest fashion moguls. Here are four of them:
- Liliane Bettencourt -She is the daughter of L'Oreal's founder Eugen Schuller, the daughter of the 92 year old billionaire's net worth is $43.1 billion. She ranks 7th globally and leads the list in total net worth in France.
- Bernard Arnault -Arnault is the second richest man in France and in the 11th place of the enture list. His net worth is $40.2 billion, he owns the fashion empire like Fendi, Bulgari, Sephora and Louis Vuitton.
- Phil Knight - Knight is the owner of Nike Sportswear and shoes, although the brand is not a runway fashion, they are also known in the clothing lines. Knight's present net worth is $25.4 billion which makes him the 29th placer on the billionaires list.
- Leonardo Del Vecchio - He is the man behind Luxottica, the maker of the brands Oakley, Sunglass Hut and of course, Ray-Ban, the company also works with company LensCrafters. Del Vecchio's net worth is $24.4 billion and he is currently on the 32nd place on the entire list.
Forbes did not include the Walton Family and other connected retailers to them because their brand is not really considered as high-end fashion or accessories. The list was updated on August 3, 2015, utilizing Forbes Real Time Net Worth Assessment.
