This comes with a warning. Read at your own risk. A new set of interesting evil monsters is rumored to cross paths with Ichabod Crane and Abbie in the much awaited Season 3 of Sleepy Hollow. According to Design and Trend, these monsters won't be like those the viewers have already seen in the past season of the hit Fox show.
The monsters who will be coming to the show are the notorious Jack the ripper, The Abyzou, and Draugur. Jack the reaper will spread his share of ultimate evil with a series of murders that Ichabod and Abbie would have to solve. The Abyzou is said to be a tooth fairy but not the kind that gives kids a nice treat under the pillow after a tooth falls off. Then Draugur is a battalion of undead British soldiers under the command of the demonic General Howe who has some unfinished business way back 240 years ago. Those three villains will take Sleepy Hollow to exciting new heights.
Sadly, it has been reported that the headless horseman will not be showing up in the upcoming season of Sleepy Hollow, as confirmed by the new showrunner Clifton Campbell. Campbell told TV line, "We have a new framework and a new set of rules for the mythology, more personal threat to Witnesses Abbie and Ichabod.
Needless to say, Abbie will be sporting a shorter hair and will be demonstrating more serious FBI skills. Moreover, with Katrina and Henry gone, it is said that there will be less family drama-- something that has plagued season 2 of Sleepy Hollow. It has also been said that the show will have a cross-over with "Bones" and Nikki Reed will join season 3 of "Sleepy Hollow" as Betsy Ross alongside Zach Appleman as Joe Corbin and Shannyn Sossamon as Pandora.
Hopefully the new villains will make Sleepy Hollow exciting enough so the fans will not feel the hollowing of Ichabod's original enemy. The show will return in Fox on October 1, 2015 9PM ET.
