LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Buy $3 Million Hidden Hills Home For Bargain

Country singer LeAnn Rimes and actor hubby Eddie Cibrian bought a home in Hidden Hills for $3 million in December, The Los Angeles Times reported.

The massive Spanish-style house is quite new, built in 2005, and takes up 8,642-square-feet of actual living space It lies on a 2-acre estate that comes with a swimming pool, a separate guest house and a barbecue space on the patio-southern living in the Hills won't work without a grill reported The Times.

The property was actually marketed as a short sale, so it was a good grab for the couple. In 2006, the property sold for $5.575 million, reported The Times. The property records also indicated it was first listed for $6.195 million in 2009 and marketed for $4.2 million before it came off, Zillow blog reported.

The Hidden Hills home features high-beamed ceilings and a wide arched window in the dining room. A masterful staircase lies at the center of the home and is adorned with Spanish tiles that adds to the Spanish essence of the home. Other amenities include a den, an office, six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The home also comes with a four-car garage.

Rimes, 30, won two Grammy awards in 1997 for "Best New Artist" for her album "Blue." Her latest album "Spitfire" is expected to debut this spring. She met her husband on the set of 2009 TV movie, "Northern Lights."

At the time she was married to Dean Sheremet, whom she later admitted she was cheating on. The affair became high-publicized and subsequently, Cibrian, 39, who was married to Brandi Glanville, also split. Glanville, now a TV personality on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," and Cibrian had two sons together.

It was Glanville who broke the news on Twitter in January that Rimes and Cibrian bought the home.
