'Empire' Season 2 Premiere & Spoilers: Andre Finds Unconventional Way To Fight for His Place Back in Empire

After Andre's responsibilities in "Empire" were stripped off him towards the end of the first season of the show, he has been left distraught and hungry to get back in the family business. Has he found a way to get his place back in Empire?

According to Carter Matt, the synopsis for the third episode of the upcoming season implies that he, along with his wife Rhonda, will try to get Lucious' affection again through their baby on the way. The married couple hopes that Lucious' heart will soften towards them, especially now that he's expecting a grandchild. Andre and Rhonda see their future child as their ticket back to Empire.

Looks like the Season 2 of "Empire" will still revolve heavily on who among the three songs will take over Lucious' place and power in the business. Other spoilers include the possibility of Lucious Lyon getting out of jail by the end of the second episode and Hakeem focusing on his personal project: girl group Menage A Trois.

The family can't seem to work together, and it seems like each of their plans are crafted so that at least one member gets torn down at one point. TV Guide reports that Cookie will be setting up her own record company to go up against Empire. Taraji P. Henson, who plays Cookie, said, "You know what they say, you can't keep a good woman down. So if you can't can't beat 'em and you can't join 'em, go build your own."

Things are setting the second season of the FOX hit show "Empire" up for total excitement and drama. Season 2 will be packed with guest stars such as Vivica A. Fox, Chris Rock, pop star Becky G, Marisa Tomei, and Miss Patti LaBelle.

"Empire" Season 2 will premiere on September 23 on FOX.
