Cara Delevingne's interview in July with the hosts of "Good Day Sacramento" has now blown out of proportion. Delevingne retaliated on the "Game Of Thrones" star Richard Madden after he labeled the model-turned-actress "unprofessional" and called her "ungrateful" to the morning TV show hosts during her controversial interview.
Delevingne took her frustration on Madden's comments to Twitter on Tuesday, saying that she doesn't know the actor. She even gave him an advice to just focus on his own career instead of minding other people's business, according to Daily Mail.
"I have no idea who you are but I think it's little desperate for a grown man to be bad mouthing someone they don't know," Delevingne wrote on her Twitter with 3.82 million followers.
"If you really want attention that badly, try focusing on your own work and not other people's," she continued.
Madden responded to Delevingne's Twitter post on Wednesday, explaining that his comments about her interview were taken in a different way. The Scottish actor apologized to her, claiming he has nothing but respect for her, New York Daily News reports.
"Hi @caradelevingne, nothing but respect for you. Misquoted and blown out of proportion."
After Delevingne's interview with the Good Day Sacramento hosts went viral, Madden had an interview with Britain's Style magazine where he reportedly said that Delevigne was "ungrateful" for how she reacted toward the hosts. He told the magazine that Delevigne showed her age in the controversial interview.
The actor, who starred as Prince Charming in the live-action version of "Cinderella," compared himself to the model and claimed that he went on a series of interviews during the making of "Cinderella," but he never reacted like her. He reportedly added that if she can't exercise good manners, then acting career is not for her.
