Telltale Games and Mojang to Launch 'Minecraft: Story Mode' on Octber This Year

Minecraft has truly captivated the imaginations of not just only its avid players but as well as some publishers and game developers. One of which enchanted by Minecraft's uniqueness and thriving success is 'Telltale Games', an independent digital first publisher and game developer based in San Rafael, California. The said game developer would release soon their own version of Minecraft, so to speak. Minecraft hardcore fans should not expect content in relation to the actual Minecraft game, but they should be surprise of Telltale's Minecraft spinoff, Minecraft: Story Mode. Kevin Bruner, CEO and co-founder of Telltale Games, explained this move of the company via unscriptedxbox saying that;

"Developed in partnership with our friends at Mojang, this all-ages adventure series kicks off a thrilling story full of many elements essential to the world of Minecraft, combined with Telltale's trademark choice-based gameplay. There are plenty of exciting details we've been keeping under wraps, and we're thrilled that players will soon be starting their own adventure through the Nether to the Farlands and beyond with Jesse and the Order of the Stone."

According to mashable 'Minecraft: Story Mode' from Telltale Games would premiere on Oct. 13 this year, and it would include 'Patton Oswalt' as one of the voiced hero in the said game. For Minecraft fans to immediately enjoy the game during Telltale's release date they should get their internet ready for Minecraft: Story Mode. For according to information released by the company, Minecraft: Story Mode would only be launched as download-only release on Mac or PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. And for most iOS and Android users, there is no need to cry your hearts out, for a special release would then follow on the 15th of the same month. Consequently, tactile persons need not to be alarmed about the software release, for Telltale and Minecraft: Story Mode would be having a disc-based release on Oct. 27 in North America or Oct. 30 in Europe.

This creative co-partnership of Mojang and Telltale seems to be promising, but we would have to wait for its release date to see whether Minecraft: Story Mode could definitely tell an awesome story.
