After his sad fate in the season finale, Nick (David Giuntoli) will face new challenges in Season 5 of "Grimm." It was earlier reported that Nick and Adalind (Claire Coffee) will be having a baby, but this does not mean that the two will be getting into a relationship.
According to Latin Post, Nick will be in a darker place in Season 5, and he also wants to raise his child as a single father. It can be recalled that during the Season 4 finale, Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) killed Nick's love, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch), in order to save him.
Christian Post reports that Season 5 will pick up right where Season 4 left off, and it was revealed that the show will be heading to a much darker direction. Some fans reportedly believe that Nick will be leaving his job to find vengeance for the deaths of his loved ones.
Some fans even speculate that Juliette may be alive after all. However, in the first scenes of Season 5, it was revealed that Juliette is already dead and her character can be seen in a coffin. Despite her death, Bitsie Tulloch, who plays the character, might still return to the show to appear in some flashback scenes.
Meanwhile, it was confirmed that "Orange Is the New Black" star Elizabeth Rodriguez will be reprising her role for Season 5 as an FBI agent. Another "Orange Is the New Black" star will also be appearing in the new season, as Madeline Brewer will make a guest appearance as the character named Billie Trump.
According to the reports, the character is described as "a fierce lieutenant in an up-and-coming Wesen street gang who is raising hell in Portland." It was confirmed that the character will be appearing in episodes 6 and 7.
"Grimm" Season 5 premieres on October 30 on NBC.
