What's next to the horror game Developer Scott Cawthon's "Five Nights at Freddy's?" Will the fans be seeing themselves thrilled again playing the spooky, nightmarish game on its fifth installment?
The game that introduced us to four creepy-looking mascots, Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the chicken, and Foxy will now be back for a whole new different game. IGN reports that it would not be "Five Nights at Freddy's 5" but the game would be "Five Nights at Freddy's World." Gamespot also reported that the new game will be available in different platforms, PC, Android, and iOS.
Though there would not be a "Five Nights at Freddy's V," it was reported from Gamespot's article that the famous characters from the previous games will be back and this time, the players can choose their choice of characters from "classic, withered, toy, phantom, and nightmare versions." And also, though the previous games was famous for scaring and shocking players, this time the game will "not be a horror game." Good news for those who aren't going for the chills.
The developer of the game, Scott Cawthon, announced what the game is about from the article of Steam and he said that, "I wanted to keep my plans for a new game secret until Halloween, but while my teasers have created excitement for some people, they have created some confusion as well, mainly because people don't know if the 'Five Nights at Freddy's' story is over or not."
He also said that, "It's very important for me to say again that there will NOT be a 'Five Nights at Freddy's 5'. The story is complete, and the Halloween update and new game will not add to it."
Currently, the said new game is being developed and there are no official dates yet on its release. Meanwhile, fans of "FNaF 4" can await the Halloween update of the game which will be released on Oct. 31. Gamespot said that the update will have a cheat and challenge menu and also some new contents.
