'The Divergent Series: Allegiant' Movie Spoilers: Teaser Shows What's Beyond The Walls

A new teaser for the upcoming movie "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" was recently released online, and it featured a glimpse of what's beyond the walls of Chicago. In the two previous movies from the franchise, "Divergent" and "Insurgent," Theo James' Four and Shailene Woodley's Tris has always been vocal about their desire to go beyond the walls. However, no one really knows what could be in store for them at the other side.

The new teaser opened with a recap of Tris' evolution throughout the past couple of years. The second half of the clip featured what's beyond the walls of Chicago, and it's nothing more but a small piece of a much bigger world. According to Entertainment Weekly, Tris could have the key in saving the much bigger world.

Meanwhile, Lionsgate recently renamed the last two films in the franchise, which were previously called "Allegiant - Part 1" and "Allegiant - Part 2." According to MTV News, the films are now more fittingly called "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" and "The Divergent Series: Ascendant."

A new logo for the two films were also released online, and it featured new taglines for the upcoming installments. The tagline for "Allegiant" reads, "Break the boundaries of your world." Meanwhile, the tagline for "Ascendant" reads, "The end is never what you expect."

Book author Veronica Roth also recently weighed in on the title changes for her two stories.

"What does this mean? Well, basically it means there are going to be some changes, but it's really too early to know exactly what those changes will be or the extent of them. I know changes always make fans of the books - and the author! - nervous, but hopefully the character we know (and love. Or sometimes love to hate?) will still be intact, which is really the important thing. I am eager to see how these movies turn out, along with you guys," she wrote.

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Mar. 18, 2016.
