Matthew Perry Sells Hollywood Hills Home for $4.7 Million

Matthew Perry a.k.a. Chandler Bing of the "Friends" fame, has finally sold his Hollywood Hills home for a cool $4.7 million. He had listed it in September 2012 asking for $5.3 million. However, he cut off a little chunk of the price as the property sat unclaimed for four months.

Perry purchased the luxury bachelor pad for around $4.8 million in 2008. The home is located on the Cul-de-sac street in the Hollywood Hills area. The home is spread across an area of 4,100 square feet comprising of 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.

According to listing records at Redfin, the home is an epitome of sophisticated architectural luxury. It features beautiful marble flooring and is decorated with neutral earthy tones. Featuring floor-to-ceiling glass windows, the single-family home offers beautiful views of the canyons, mountains and the ocean as well.

The home features a chic gourmet kitchen, both indoor and outdoor fireplaces along with a screening room, laundry room and a separate breakfast area. The residence also has a modern spa. Tight security amenities are also available. The residence provides for a two car covered parking space. It also has large open patios that can be used to entertain guests.

In 2011, Perry had three of his properties listed in the market while purchasing a Los Angeles mansion worth $8.6 million, reports Yahoo.

Perry shot to fame with his role in the hit sitcom "Friends". However, the 'Bing' charm couldn't take him further as he delivered a series of flops both on the big and small screen.

Currently, Perry is starring in the NBC sitcom "Go On". In April 2013, an episode will reunite him with Courtney Cox, who also featured in FRIENDS. The "Cougar Town" star, Cox recently posted pictures of Perry and herself on twitter confirming the reunion.
