To all the fans of the TV series Gotham, Fox just released an official trailer for the season 2 of the hit TV series. This means that fans will finally get a sneak peak of what's coming for Detective James Gordon in the second season of the show.
The trailer, titled "Rise of Villains: Damned If You Do...," begins with James Gordon saying "It's a New day," before it starts showing the villains who will be terrorizing Gotham. It has been reported that season two will revolve around how Edward Nygma, played by Cory Michael Smith, will transition into Riddler. But According to Den of Geek, the creator of Gotham has promised the audience that the Joker will also be a part of season 2 and that is most probably why the clip features young Jerome, played by Cameron Monaghan, laughing or grinning several times often.
Further speaking about the Joker, showrunner Bruno Heller has recently dropped a big giveaway. He has told The Hollywood Reporter, "We're going to find out how the hell Jerome, the proto-Joker we met earlier in this season, connects with the Joker as people known him, that's the big focus of the beginning of the second season. We're going to tell the story of how the Joker came to be...That's teaser enough, I think."
The second season of Gotham will star Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Michael Chiklis as Detective Nathaniel Barnes, Sean Pertwee as Alfred, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle (the future Catwoman), James Frain as Theo Galavan, Jessica Lucas as Tabitha Galavan, Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox, Nicholas D'Agosto as Harvey Dent, Zabryna Guevara as Captain Sarah Essen.
Watch out for the premiere of Gotham 2 on FOX Monday, September 21 at 8PM ET.
