Now that Liz (Megan Boone) is on the run from the FBI, Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) will be coming to help her.
According to Christian Today, Keen will be learning about his wife being a fugitive that's being hunted by the FBI. It was reported that he will not have second thoughts about helping her and will do everything in his power to save her.
Executive producer Jon Bokenkamp revealed in an interview that Eggold's character is someone who always extends his help, most especially when someone dear to him is in danger. However, the EP also revealed that Tom doesn't know that Liz assassinated the Attorney General of the United States.
During the Season 2 finale, Tom was cleared of all the charges against him and he was also ready to start a new life. Bokenkamp hinted that the two characters will have a hard time coping now that the roles have been exchanged. He added that Liz will be feeling desperate now that she's a criminal, and trying to live in the shadows will be hard for her.
It was earlier reported that Season 3 will focus on the relationship between Liz and Reddington (James Spader) as they both try to discover their connection with each other while they try to stay alive. Bokenkamp revealed that viewers will see "a really strange and powerful dynamic" of the characters in Season 3, and he revealed that their characters complement each other in a nice way.
Based the official synopsis for the premiere episode for Season 3 featured on the Hollywood Hills, Red will be asking the help of a Blacklister called "The Troll Farmer" to help him and Liz go out of the city. Meanwhile, it was also reported that Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) will be involved in a dangerous scenario and will be put in a compromising position.
"The Blacklist" Season 3 will premiere on October 1.
