Forbes released its highest paid model list and Gisele Bündchen tops the list with $44 million up her sleeves this year.
According to eonline.com, the 35- year- old Brazilian runway veteran announced her retirement last March but this did not stop her for raking millions and landing on the top spot for the last nine years. Gisele's wings first spread as a Victoria Secret's Angel and her career lasted for a few decades with total earnings of over $430 million. She also managed to out- earn her husband, New England Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady.
Despite her retirement last March, Gisele continues to join different big fashion campaigns brought by fashion industry's biggest brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Stuart Weitzman.
Gisele Bündchen was followed by industry's new darling, 23- year- old Cara Delevigne and another Victoria Secret's Angel Adrian Lima, both has $9 million on their shoes. Fellow Victoria Secret's Angels fill up the spots namely, Doutzen Kroes with $7.5 million, Miranda Kerr with $5.5 million and Alessandra Ambrosio with $5 million.
Another new- comer was able to get into the list with their glamour and million dollar earnings.
In a report by dispatchtimes.com, Kendall Jenner is sighted to be included in the list. She made her debut last year, walking down the catwalk for Fashion Week. Jenner started to take off and now she's seen walking for different brands such as Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Fendi and Givenchy. Kendall is also the youngest model to be included in the list with her total earning of $4 million a year. Her friend, Karlie Kloss, is also able to land a place among the list at number eight spot with $5 million.
The reigning queen Gisele Bündchen's earning was believed to be down with 6% because of the announcement of her retirement. However, her retirement is not enough for her to renounce her crown. She said, "I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey."
