New Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge Update: These Smartphone Brings More Microsoft Apps

Samsung's Smartphone Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will bring more Microsoft apps which will include Office, Word, and PowerPoint on the devices. The handsets will come with pre-installed Microsoft One Drive and OneNote apps. With the size of around 220MB, the update reported that both Smartphone have the capability to install the aforementioned apps without the consent of the user.

GSM Arena said whether you will get the update or not it depends on your region and carrier. As of this time, there's not much information available on it yet.

Microsoft News reported that the new update for Samsung's Galaxy S6 devices has been released recently and the latest update brings some Microsoft Office apps such as Office, Word and PowerPoint.

Previously, the company only packed OneDrive and OneNote to its S6 devices. But with the latest update, the company is adding more Microsoft apps for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Smartphone.

According to the report of Myce, Samsung brings Microsoft apps on Galaxy S6 Smartphone. Microsoft Office apps can be installed to Samsung phones without the consent of the user. Smartphone owners were surprised to find Microsoft apps installed in their phones after the update.

With the update for Samsung flagship phones, the Android versions of Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote are automatically installed. Many users complain that the information of the update about the apps did not contain any information about the installation of the additional apps while it was a 200MB download something. Besides the bandwidth and the extra download, the apps also take up storage space on the phone, for Smartphone users that is rather occupying the data by their own choice.

This South Korean company always releases new updates for its Smartphone that usually include security patches, new features and some new upgrades for Androids. The updates for the installation of Microsoft apps seem to be a new trend in the collaboration between Samsung and Microsoft.

The two companies both agreed that Microsoft apps would be pre-installed on Samsung phones.
