"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Shannon Beador forgives husband David for cheating despite the revelation of his mistress, and celebrates their 15th wedding anniversary.
Reports claim that David's mistress is Nicole McMackin, whose marriage is currently on the rocks and would lead to divorce due to the scandal.
“Nicole did have an affair with that man whose wife is on that Orange County reality show. Yes, Shannon Beador’s husband. It has been devastating for the family and having it play out on national television is making it hard for [her husband] Reed to forgive Nicole,” a source said according to Radar Online.
The source also added that McMackin regretted being involved with David and said that she would just deal with it saying that "Reed would have left her if they didn’t have the kids.”
The affair between David and McMackin lasted for nearly nine months while Shannon was filming "Real Housewives of Orange County," Daily Mail reported.
Meanwhile, after forgiving her husband, Shannon and David had a romantic dinner to celebrate their anniversary.
“David took Shannon to the Raya Restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, which is one of her most favorite places ever,” a friend of the Beadors told Radar Online.
After sharing a throwback photo of their wedding, Shannon then posted a photo on Instagram while they were having dinner, writing, “David surprised me with an anniversary dinner where we got engaged! ❤️ #thoughtful #lovehim.”
An eye witness at the restaurant revealed that David gave Shannon a jewelry box, saying, "Whatever was inside the box must have been really beautiful because Shannon had the biggest smile on her face when she opened it. Tears came to her eyes and she gave him the biggest kiss and hug ever."
On August, the family went on a vacation in Maui with children Sophie, 13 years old, and twins Stella and Adeline, 10 years old, Reality Tea reported.
A source said that after the cheating issue, it only made the couple stronger.
“They are doing really well and are very solid in their marriage. Shannon and David are continually working on their relationship and are completely devoted to each other and to their kids,” the source added.
