Screenplay writing partners and now BFFs Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence took their partnership to the next level as they went out on a manhunt!
According to OK! Magazine, this has not come at a better time since Schumer and Lawrence are both happily single. They expressed their desires to go on double dates together, and they'll reportedly act as chaperones for one another.
The source also reports that the comedic duo's friendship definitely solidified when the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay" star tagged along during the "Trainwreck" star's vacation. Schumer described Lawrence as a cool girl to hang out with.
Schumer and Lawrence have also been spotted out on a lovely friendship moment prior to this. They were at Billy Joel's concert in Chicago and they danced to their heart's content on top of the singer's piano! The comedian told Ryan Seacrest via E! Online that she has always been a Billy Joel groupie through the years and that she actually felt terrified that she was on top of the singer's piano since she weighed "a buck and fifty." Seems like the two had a grand time despite their worries.
How did the two start their friendship? The twosome announced their screenwriting partnership for a comedy where they will be playing sisters. Lawrence gushed over her partner saying, "Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavors. It's been the most fun experience of my life."
According to the New York Post, they've only met a couple of months ago via email. Lawrence simply told Schumer that she was in love with her, and that's where it all started! From exchanging emails to going to manhunts together, their friendship truly blossomed fast!
Meanwhile, the last installment to the Jennifer Lawrence-starrer "Hunger Games" series titled "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is set to premiere on November 20.
