Oscar Winner List 2013: Jennifer Lawrence, 'Argo', Anne Hathaway Major Winners

The 85th annual Academy Awards came and went but the star power that descended at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood on Sunday, Feb. 24 was enough to last for a long time. Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, Halle Berry, Charlize Theron and more Hollywood glam actresses dazzled in their couture attire.

Best Actor went to Daniel Day-Lewis for "Lincoln" and Best Actress went to Jennifer Lawrence for "Silver Linings Playbook." While the 22-year-old star went up to receive her award, she suffered every actress' nightmare while ascending the stage: She tripped on her dress, leaving her even more nervous as she prepared to deliver her acceptance speech, but she quickly got up and ended it gracefully.

Taking home the Best Picture Award was "Argo" directed by Ben Affleck, his first directing gig. The award was presented by First Lady Michelle Obama via telecast from the White House.

"Thank you Jack, and welcome to the White House everyone. I'm so honored to introduce the nominees for Best Picture," said the First Lady, looking glamorous. "And to help celebrate the movies that lift our spirits, broaden our minds and transport us to places we have never imagined."

Affleck said he was overjoyed for winning the award, as well as having it presented by Michelle Obama. "I was sort of hallucinating when that was happening," said backstage. "It just seem[ed] so natural because the whole thing is so unnatural."
