Tim Beckman, the ousted football coach of the University of Illinois, is selling his home in Urbana, IL for $950,000. He was fired a week before the 2015 season with allegations that he avoided to report the injuries of a player. Tim Beckman denied the allegations and has discussed to take legal action. "I firmly deny the implications ... that I took any action that was not in the best interests of the health, safety and well-being of my players," stated Beckman.
There is a remaining $3.1 million on the finishing two years of his original five-year contract, but unfortunately, Beckman will not receive it anymore. Aside from that, the amount of $743,000 buyout it includes won't be given to him as well.
Realtor said the home he's leaving behind has all the amenities for someone at the top of his game. The 6,380-square-foot home that was built in 2012 has exercise room, a media room, and custom kitchen with granite counter tops, an ice machine, and a wine cooler. The house has four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and two half-baths. There is also another room currently used as a sitting room that could be converted to a fifth bedroom.
