Asus introduces a new ZenFone 2 variant with 4GB of RAM as well as 16GB of storage which can be a perfect choice for a mid-range unlocked smart phone, tagged at $229, Liliputing reported.
Apart from the memory and storage, it is also equipped with a 5.5-inch, 1,920 x 1,080 resolution IPS display, a MicroSD card slot capable of handling up to 64GB of memory, dual SIM card support, and your standard array of wireless radios, Digital Trends wrote.
The Taiwanese company previously released its two variants of the ZenFone that showcase 2GB RAM with 16GB of built-in storage at $199 while the other variant features 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage, priced at $299. Looking at the storage and prices, the ZenFone 2 is a good choice.
According to reviews, ZenFone 2 could be one of the cheapest smart phones with 4GB of RAM and is a good option considering its price, Tech Times reported.
The new ZenFone 2 variant reportedly has a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3560 as well as an f/20 aperture, 28-mm focal length, and a dual-color Real Tone flash on 13MP rear camera and 5MP front cameras, which is the same as the ZenFone 2 ZE551ML that was recently released in India.
"When designing the ZenFone 2, we started with you in mind. As a result, ZenFone 2 has a highly-intuitive control layout, incorporating a physical rear key as part of the new Ergonomic Arc design. Snapping selfies, adjusting the volume and retracing your steps now feels completely natural, regardless of whether you are right- or left-handed. The elegant new shape feels secure and extremely comfortable to hold," product description of ZenFone 2 reads.
Other specifications include dual-SIM LTE, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5.5-inch Full HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, microSD card support, and 3000mAh battery.
This new Asus device is considered a good choice for a budget-friendly Android smartphone with impressive features. It can be purchased from Amazon or Asus stores.
