'HTC One A9' Specs, Price: New Device Might Cost Around $800, Features Fingerprint Sensor

The "HTC One A9" has been creating a noise within the tech world with more rumors coming out about it. The device was initally called Hima Aero, then Aero, and then its commercial name.

Recently, it was reported that the "HTC One A9" will be a midrange smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset. Specifications of the One A9 include an octa core A53 CPU with 1.5 GHz. It will use the Adreno 405 GPU and Hexagon 546 DSP.

As mid range as the "One A9" may be, it is possible that this phone won't be in any way cheap. At least that's how a listing suggests. The listing was made by a Dutch retailer which said that pre orders of the One A9 is already ongoing. The big news is that, the new phone is priced at €700. Nothing is official just yet, but so far that is all the basis we can have as far as the phone's price goes.

"HTC One A9" will carry a 5 inch 1080p screen with 2 GB of RAM. It will have a 16 GB expandable storage and a 13 MP back camera with OIS. Its front camera will use a 4 MP UltraPixel snapper and its battery will be a 2150 mAh battery. The HTC One A9 will have a fingerprint sensor and will run Android's 6.0 version or Marshmallow. The specifications is good, although not better than many 2015 released smartphones. But it's pretty fine.

Before you judge the worthiness of the device in connection to its specifications, do consider that some retailers just put up pre orders without actually pricing the items properly. Sellers go ahead and promote pre orders and announce that they are the first to release the latest smartphones, so prices may not always be accurate. Just to be sure, it is always recommended to wait for things to cool down and let the smartphones hit mainstream before buying.

The HTC One A9 is probably going to be official at September 29 at a tech event.
