"Orange is the New Black" Season 4 has been renewed by Netflix recently, and fans can expect new and exciting storylines.
According to Australia Network, the fourth installment will focus more on Sophia and Gloria's ongoing feud. In an interview with TV Guide, Laverne Cox, who plays the role of Sophia, said, "I can't imagine. As a viewer watching, seeing how much remorse Gloria has, I always like to believe there's a potential for forgiveness, but this is pretty bad. This is really, really bad."
Selenis Leyva, who plays Gloria, added, "We don't know what's coming yet... but they are good people, and you see that individually. The audience got to see that these women have conflict. And it's not about personal attack on each other. It's more about their children, and how they're desperately trying to hold onto some kind of control."
Meanwhile, other than Sophia and Gloria's feud, "Orange is the New Black" Season 4 will also focus on Alex's (Laura Prepon) return. In Season 3, Alex was attacked by a group of people whom she suspects are related to some of her fellow inmates at Litchfield prison. While speaking to the same publication, the actress said that her character's paranoia has been justified, so she will not be timid in the upcoming installment.
There are also rumors that John Bennett (Matt McGorry) could make a cameo in Season 4. Last season, the character just disappeared from the show without much explanation. Fans believe that the actor would like to focus more on his role on "How to Get Away With Murder" season 2, which will premiere on ABC this month.
In other news, "Orange is the New Black" Season 4 will also focus on Piper (Taylor Schilling) and Alex's relationship and whether or not there's still a chance for them to reunite romantically.
"Orange is the New Black" Season 4 will premiere on Netflix sometime next year.
