The Queen of Pop is known for her shocking and playful antics, but during her Rebel Heart concert in New York last Saturday, things got a little raunchy.
Billboard was there to witness the bizarrely fun performance. According to the entertainment news site, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper was among the audience, and Madonna was quick to spot him. She called him to the stage to join her performance for her "Unapologetic Bitch" song.
At first, the singer just looped her arm with Cooper's, for what the crowd thought would be an innocent, simple dance number. But within moments, in true shocking Madonna fashion, her dancers bent Cooper over while she went ahead to spank him.
"Now you're gonna get it!" the pop icon teased. "That was like the low-key CNN style, right? That's CNN unapologetic bitch!"
Madonna then did an impromptu wild routine with Cooper. The news anchor seemed to take everything in stride, and even played along.
Things got even naughtier when Madonna gave Cooper a banana, telling him, "You know, there are so many things that you can do with a banana. A banana can save your life. It's nutritious and it can really fill you up. I'm sure you'll figure out what to do with it."
Cooper, being a true sport, ended up eating the banana.
After the show, Madonna thanked Cooper for being game, posting a picture of them together on Instagram.
"Thanks for being my bitch tonight!!! Hope you enjoyed the banana!" the singer wrote.
Anderson Cooper responded on his own account, describing the experience as "awesome."
"I still can't believe this happened," the host wrote as caption in one of his pictures with the queen of pop.
Madonna's Rebel Heart Tour runs until March 2016. After touring the U.S., she will head to Canada on Oct. 6.
