The tech giant company aims on stabilizing and ensuring consumer loyalty thus the new upgrade program is recently being implemented. According to a previous post by the Huffingtonpost, "Apple has introduced a new upgrade program that will allow people to pay for its coveted iPhones on a monthly basis for two years."
The program would entail basic services and upgrades such as the 16GB device will have payment plans that will start at $32.41 a month. If the 12 months are up, the consumers can then decide to upgrade to a new iPhone that will jerk the whole monthly payment process over again.
Apple also points out that consumers still need to pay for monthly service from a wireless company since Apple is only providing the hardware, and not the data plan. Huffingtonpost further added that if any consumer opt for the upgrade plan, these consumers will have a hard time ever breaking out of Apple's world.
For instance, the full 24-month payment cycle, will stuck anyone with an outdated or old phones. Also, an upgrade every 12 months, and credit just keeps on piling up.These methods established by Apple seems enchanting but as the days pass by, more payables looms for the consumers.
