'James Harden' Still Wearing Nike Shoes Despite Adidas Contract

It was last month that a controversial done deal contract worth $200 million between James Harden and Adidas circulated the internet. The said 13 year contract was agreed upon after Harden's Nike contract expired. Since then, some brand enthusiasts have been waiting to have a glimpse of what would Harden's Adidas shoe would look like. However, it seems like Harden has not fully let go of his former shoe brand, Nike. For photos of Harden still wearing Nike shoes have been circulating in the internet. (Photo Here)

On a date with her new Girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian, James Harden was spotted still wearing a Nike Air Jordans. And the irony is that Khloe Kardashian was wearing an Adidas sweatshirt and sweatpants, somehow showing the Kardashian's brand loyalty. And as a result of this, Adidas was pissed off on Harden being spotted wearing Nike shoes.

As highlighted via cbssports, the president of Adidas North America, Mark King, told Darren Rovell of Espn that Harden should stop wearing his collections of Nike Jordans, especially when his contract deal with Adidas would commence on October 1 this year. On a statement via cbssports, Mark King stated that

"That's part of the deal." The difference between football and basketball is that a guy like Aaron Rodgers doesn't have a walk-around shoe," King said. "Harden does, and he will be in our lifestyle stuff."

However, such statement seems to have no effect to James Harden. For according to a report of tmz, the NBA star has been spotted again wearing Nike shoes in public. Tmz then assumed that Adidas team would be thinking that, "Our poster boy thinks Nike is better ... 'cause he keeps wearing them even though we're paying him $200 MILLION!!!!"

It seem like James Harden forgot to present his best foot forward after signing a contract with Adidas. If this manner of Harden wearing competitors' product despite signing a contract with Adidas would continue, it might end up both parties suing each other. It happened before with Reebok, now owned by Adidas, and Shawn Kemp, after the latter telling the press that Nike remains his favorite shoe.

Now what is your take about James Harden's actions lately? Feel free to share and comment below.
