'NBA 2K16' Updates: Here Are the 9 Colleges Confirmed for the Upcoming Game

One of the most amazing features in the upcoming NBA 2K16 is the new and improved MyCareer mode. According to to IGN, the players starts off in high school in the MyCareer mode and then the player gets to select which college to attend after playing a few varsity games. The demo for the game is said to have featured 2 of the 10 fully licensed schools that a player can choose from in the Game. The two colleges are University of Texas and the University of Arizona. Now fans are wondering what the 8 other colleges are.

According to Design and Trend, an user at the Operation Sports forums reportedly has discovered that developers of 2K Sports have the license for eleven schools from the Collegiate Licensing Company and the eleven licensed schools are Arizona, Arizona State, Georgetown, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, Texas, UCLA, UConn, Villanova, and Wisconsin. Moreover, another Operation Sports user by the name of Chickenney reportedly has shared a screenshot of the nine confirmed authentic colleges: Arizona, Georgetown, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, Texas, UCONN, UCLA, Villanova.

Two schools, Arizona State and Wisconsin are missing in the screenshot but according to Operation Sports, 3 people have confirmed that those two schools are confirmed and another school maybe added. James Harden, one of the players featured in the game attended Arizona so adding Arizona makes sense. There is also a rumor that Steph Curry's Davidson might be included because Curry's cover has shown him wearing a Davidson uniform. It would be a nice addition but according to Design and Trend it wouldn't fit with all of the other major college teams revealed.

Needless to say the collegiate period in the MyCareer mode in NBA 2K16 will determine where the player will end up in the NBA. NBA 2K16 will be released in Sept 29, 2016
